Additional sum required to coffer salaries of staff attached to the Stockton Colliery and extra staff required to cope with increased activities. lb) £750 provided on main estimates. To cover expenditure of metalling newly formed roads in Benneydale Township. (e) Purchases of new plant for the Stockton Colliery. ( f ) Purchase-price of the assets of the Westport-Stockton Coal Co., Ltd. a) On main estimates the following amounts provided : Blackball, £65,000 ; L)obson £115,000 ; James, £ ,000 ; Liverpool, £210 000- Mangapehi, £65,000; Strongman, £195,000 ; Tatu, £50,000 ; Wallsend, £110,000.
