(а) Provision for compensation and expenses payable to R. R. Williams, Porter, Queen Mary Hospital, on account of injuries sustained whilst on duty. (б) £13,000 provided on main estimates. Additional amount required for extra cars and replacements for District Health Nurses and Health Inspectors. (c) £1,000 provided on main estimates. Additional amount required for repetition of campaign held earlier in tho year. (</) £200 provided on main estimates. Additional amount required for the purchase of packing-materials required at departmental stores. v(e) £37,500 provided on main estimates. Additional supplies were available and distributed this season. (/) £148,000 provided on main estimates. Additional amount to meet adjustment in price paid to suppliers and to allow for non-school days. (g) Provision to covor expenses of persons in poor financial circumstances who are being examined for tuberculosis or are suspected of suffering from this disease travelling from their homes to centres where they can be examined. (h) £20,000 provided on main estimates. Provision for purchase of supplies of penicillin from Commonwealth Serum Laboratories, Australia. (i) £1,169,000 provided on main estimates. Additional amount required as disclosed by complete survey of approved estimates furnished by Hospital Boards. (j) £125 provided on main estimates. Additional amount required to meet costs incurred in legal proceedings. (k) £700 provided on main estimates. To provide for treatment of additional cases.
