The restrictions upon household deliveries, with the exception of milk, were taken off on 27th September, 1945, under the Milk Delivery Emergency Regulations 1945, which transferred control of milk deliveries to the Milk Marketing Division. Retailers have since been free to reinstate their pre-war delivery services. CO-ORDINATION OF ALL FORMS OF TRANSPORT 69. During the year the Transport Development Committee, which comprises representatives from all forms of transport and the Government Departments concerned, submitted a report setting out proposals for co-ordinating all forms of transport and giving effect to a proposed Dominion transport policy. This report is at present under consideration.
