Rabbit Extermination.

[PEB PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, June 13. A deputation headed by Hoir O. F. Richardson, wailed on the Minister of Lands to-day, to point out the hardship that l;vn<!!iolde'*B were under by there' being an impression that poisoning for the extermination of rabbits wax compulsory. The Minister expressed his surprise and distinctly informed the deputation that poisoning was optional, not compulsory. Rabbits must be exterminated, but the means of effecting this were left entirely to owners.
