MEETING OF SUB-UNIOX. SOME INTEREST'ING MATTERS. Thc usual weekly meeting of the Hastings Rugby Snh-Union was lield last night, there being present Messrs J. A. Eraser (chainnan), F. Corln'n, AV. Smart, C. Bunker. A. Kirkpatrick, R. AI. Hcwilt, J. Hodges and H. Brown. The following players were regraded : Senior B to junior, O. Cohviil (H.S.O.B.), J. Brenton-Rulo (TLS.O.B.), Mapuriri (Matariki). These will be subject to review after the players have been seen in action. Otlier regradings were as follows : — Rose (Celtic) and Wellwood (Hastings) to senior. Milne and Hutchinson, Hastings Ihirds, to junior. The secretary was instructed to advise foothallcrs that in the event of further damage being done to the switch-hox in Nelson Park, the lights for night praetice will be cut off. It was reported that last" season, the sub-union had expended £38 0s ld on the encouragement of scliool foothall in Hastings and district and if was decided to fonvard foothalls to 18 scliool s as has been done in previous years.
