STORTFORD LODGE SALES
GOOD YAEDLNG HECORDED. There was a very large attendance of buyers at Stortford Lodge saleyards to-day. A fair yarding of cattle was offered and competition was keen enough to result in good prices being obtained. Fat bullocks sold well up to £15, ancl for store bullocks prices ranging from £10 to £12 5s were freelv given. Y"ouug steers sold up to £7 10s and cows with calves realised up to £12 10e. A hig yarding of sheep was offered, including a full percentage of stores. Fat ewes were in demand at from 24s to 26s and fat wethers ranged from 34s to 35s. Fat lambs sold from 20s 6d to 25 s. Several stucl sheep were offered and were eagerlv sought after. Stud shearling ewes ranged from five guineas to 6| guineas and a stud 2-shear ewe iil lamb to stud ram brought 6 guineas.
