It was deeided at last night's meeting of the Hastings Borough Council to forward all old books and old papcrs from the library to the Old People's Home. Amongst otlier matters brought up concerning the library, was a complaint of the parking of cars and cycles in tlie library riglit-of-wav, which was hecoming a nuisance, especially at night and on Sundays." A complaint was also made vegarding. children pla4ying in and around the library on Sun'days and disturbing people who went into the library to read. The librarian reported that- as soon as she appeared the children made offi but directlv her back ivas turned they came back. It was deeided to refer the complaints to the police and to the chairman of tlie library committee.
