CORRESPONDENCE
"PROGRESS."
(We do not hold ourselves responsible £01 opimons expressed by correspondents. ) FURTHER APPRECIATION . (To the Editor.) Sir, — Allow me to join "Farmer" in congratulating the Daiiy Telegraph 011 its enterprise in inaugurating a daiiy feature covering agrieultural news in our province. Hawke's Bay has reached that point in its progress where it is necessary that the farmers of the province should be kept informed daiiy of events which, taking place some distance from tlieir own holdings. miglit possibly remain unknown to them for some weeks. Up-to-the-minute reports of stock saies in all parts of the Hawke's Bay district constitute an asset whose value should be readily realised by every farmer. For even tlie most experienced settler the articles on numerous farming subjects, etc., eontain a wealtli of infovmation which all may use to advantage. I liave uo doubt that other farmers in Hawke's Bay will ■ appreciate the worth of "StVaggler's" articles as much as mysplf — T am. fttn.
