SUDDEN DEATH AT NEWTOWN

Mr. J. Thompson, of 2, Carringtonstreet, manager for Pearee's boot shop in Biddiford-street, died suddenly this morning shortly after opening the premises for the day. He left home about eight o'clock, as "was his usual habit, and an hour or so later a passer-by saw him sitting in the shop apjparently in a helpless condition. A neighbour who was called in sent for Dr. Jacobsen, ■who found on arrival that Mr. Thompson was dead. Deceased, who leaves a widow, was 45 years of age. He appeared to be in his usual good heatth. An inquest will be held to-morrow morning.
