(Per Press Association.) NELSON, Saturday. News has been received in town that Thomas Freeman, employed on a dredge, was drowned near Tnangahua, at the junction of the Buller river. He left Nelson for Inangahua on Tuesday. OAMARU, Saturday. William Honan, storekeeper, an old resident, died suddenly at Livingstone on New Year’s morning. He complained of great pain in the morning, and died an hour later. No medical man was present. MARTON, Saturday. James Kyle was found drowned in the Tutaenui stream al Martin this morning. It is supposed he fell while crossing a small bridge. His relations live at Timaru. DUNEDIN, Saturday.

Mr John Wilson, an old age pensioner, was found hanging by -x ropo from a beam in his home, Mosgiel, yesterday afterhoon. An inquest will be held to-day.
