WATER

(To the Editor Gisborne Times.)

Sir,—l have a suggestion to make on this very much-vexed question. Get the Rev. Isitt to come up and prospect for water. He might make up a party consisting of himself, and Messrs Lysnar and Whinray, and give a temperance lecture at the Motu, in the meantime looking out for a suitable supply. The lecture should be given with 'an interval, so that Councillor Lysnar may sing that beautiful hymn, “ As Pants the Hart.” At the end of the lecture the song by Councillor Whinray might be “ Woodman Spare That Tree.” 1 am, etc., dr. McCarthy.
