STRONG DEMAND FOR FLOCK ANIMALS.

Received 9.44 p.m., July 8. Sydney, July 8. A feature of the sheep sale was tho strong demand for flock animals. The average in this ciass, both for merinos and long wools, was higher than in previous years. To-day’s offerings were chiefly New South Wales and Tasmanian long wools and two lots of New Zealand Shropshires. Forty-nine rams on account of Thos. Coates, of Remuera, brought to 2} guineas ; one ram and 11 ewes on account of C. Rhodes, Hunua, to 3J guineas.
