(Per Press Association.) Wellington, last night. The Council met at 2.30. Tbe Eduoation Reserves Bill was put through the final stages. The House met at 2,30. Mr Seddon said he hoped to bring the session to a close on Saturday. The Property Law Amendment Bill and the Education Act Amendment Bill passed the final stages, the former without material amendment. , , ;

The Council resumed at 7.30, The Criminal Code Amendment Bill and Workers’Dwellings Bill, passed the final stages. The House resumed at 7.30. The Education Act Amendment Bill passed the final stages. The Bailway Authorisation Bill and Oivil Service Classification Bill ware brought down by Governor’s message. The Australian and New Zealand Defenoe Bill passed through committee.
