FIRE IN AUCKLAND.

DRAPER’S SHOP DESTROYED. Press Association. AUC KLAND, Feb. 27. This afternoon a fire occurred at ho premises of J. Powell, draper, in varangaliape road, the building being practically gutted. Tile building was owned by Peat B :os, who_bad it insured in the Royal Exchange for £6OO. Powell had a policy over the contents in the shop for £IOOO in the St-ato fire office.
