Mr. H. J. Grieve, who -lias just returned from South, -lias secured tho services of a well-known watchmaker, late of the firm of Littlejohn and Co,, Wellington. Mr. Grieve is making a speciality of repairs, and in order to advertise t lie work, specially low rates are being charged at present. The proprietor of the Brunswick Supper Rooms lias a notice in this .issue. . Forty two-tooth Romney rams are advertised for sale. Ail extraordinary general meeting of tho shareholders in the Lynda Soapmaking and Trading Company will bo held in Townley’s Hall on Monday night. An advertiser wants- a position in the country as working companion or lady-help. F. S. Malcolm and' Co. hold their usual produce sale at- 10.30 a.m. tomorrow morning, to bo followed by a sale of higli-class furniture at 'l2 noon. A boy to help in cooking at Tolaga Bay is wanted.
