ENTERTAINMENTS.
MEYNELL AND GUNN CO. Messrs. Rupert Clarke, John Wren, Clyde Meyneli, and John Gunn, announce a visit to Gisborne of four nights duration, commencing on 'Wednesday, July. Ist, of their premier dramatic organisation, headed by the popular actor liarcourt Beatty, and the talented actress Madge Mclntosh, who is making her first tour of Australasia. The tour of the Dominion was .commenced at Auckland, where His Majesty’s Theatre has been crowded at each performance since the opening night. The Company supporting the two “stars” numbers forty, and includes many well-known favorites. On July 1 and 2 the interesting drama of martial life “Her Love Against the World,” written by Walter Howard, will he staged, and on July 3 and 4 tho romantic historical play “A Beggar on Horseback” will be presented. The box plan opens at 'Miller’s on Friday next.
