Messrs Miller and Craig report the following prices at their produce sales on .Saturday: Roosters Is 9d to •3s 3d, liens Is 9d to 2s 7d, bantams Is, turkeys (hens) 4s 7d, butter lOd to Is, eggs Is lOd, pumpkins 3s 6d sack, marrows 3s sack, onions l'Jd lb, honey 6d bottle, turnips 3d bundle, lettuce Gd dozen, swedes 2s 3d bag, leeks lOd dozen, celery 2s dozen, kumeras 4s 9d case, oranges 8s Gd to 10s case, apples Ss Gd to 11s Gd case, citron melons 9d each, potatoes Ss bag. Messrs F. 8. Malcolm and Co., auctioneers, report the following prices realised at their produce sales on Saturday :—Roosters Is Gd to 2s Sd, liens Is 9d to 2s 3d. eggs 2s Id per doss., potatoes Id per lb., 13s per mck, onions Jd lb.. 10s Gd cwt., pumpkins 2s Gd to 4s per doz. Small vegotililes at recent quotations. Subsequently a sale of fruit trees was held on account of Messrs C. H. Gibbons and Col, when 200 lots were disposed of at satisfactory prices.
■HORSE SALES. r Alessrs AA’illiams and Kettle, Ltd., yarded about . 45 hacks at AA’vl lie’s horse-bazaar on Saturday. There was l poor demand, and a large part of the entry was passed in. Useful sorts brought from" £3 to- £5 2s <3d, better sorts from £7 to £los, amt ponies s okl from £3 17s to £5 10s.
