NATIONAL DAIRY SHOW.
RECORD SUCCESS ANTICIPATED [Press Association.] PALMERSTON N.. June 22. The National Dairy Show will be opened at noon to-morrow In- the Governor. The staging of tlie exhibits was being undertaken all day to-day -.and preparations were in hand to-night. The entries, which total 1193, are excellent both as regards quantity and quality. A feature of the show is the remarkably fine exhibit by the Agricultural Department. which comprise.-- all the various branches, and takes up a. large share of the space. The dairy factory produce section is well filled, and the cheese entries were judged to-day. The Awatuna, Edendale, and Dalefield Factories were winners- in the factory cheese classes. The town is full of visitors, and everything points to a record success.
