THE TURF.
The Park racecourse was fairly busy on Saturday morning, when, most of the horses engaged at the approaching meeting were given vanoils tasks- Sarilla, ran six furlongs in 1 min 24sec, hut could have made better time. The Stripper was of no uso to To Arai over a niilo run in 1 min. 57sec. Stylish went nicely over a short distance, and Hinetituma did useful pace work. Reay und .AVaikekau started to do tlio steeplechase course, hub at the sod wall AA’aikekau stumbled and nearly caused -an accident to the hoy who was riding. Reay continued the journey, galloping and jumping nicely, and greatly pleased the spectators. A number of other horses did useful exercise work.
