WELLINGTON MEETING. [Pbess Association.] WELLINGTON, July 22. . The winter meeting was continued to-day in fine weather. There was a satisfactory attendance, and the sum of £12,983 was passod through the totalisator, as against £18,388 for the corresponding day of last year. Results : Glasgow Handicap.—Oxton 1, Duart 2, Yosami 3. Also started: Maid of Astolat, Tho Seer, Golden Gate. Wharekura jumped round ,at the post, and took no part in tho race. Oxton and Yosami led to the homo turn, where tlio former came , away, and won by three lengths. Time, 1 min, 8 4-ssec. Karori Hack Handicap.—Dr. Shiliiosi 1, Vasa 2, North Pole 3. Ajso started: Spinning Flight, Blue Ribbon, Skye, Camp Fire, Consuelp. Dr. Shiinosi led throughout, and won all out by a neck. Time, lmiii 34sec. Second Hack Hurdles.—Full Crv 1, Ghoorka 2, Jolly Roger 3. Also started: Defeat, Snip, Hatley, Otaroa, Liberator, Oakbourne. Won by two lengths. Time 3min. Wellington Steeplechase.—Nadador 1, ■ Loch Fyne 2, Tilson 3. Also started: Pierre and Bullwortli. Tilson led for two miles, where Pierre foil when running prominently. The last time passing tho stand the field was well together with the exception of Bullwortli. Nadador took charge at six furlongs from home and won by six lengths,. two lengths between second and third. Time, 7min 3Gsec. Waterloo Handicap.—California 1, Dawn 2, Maliaranui 3. Also started: Seaman, Paragon, Swimming Belt, Tupono, Rangipapa, Merrie Zealand, Chief Lochiel, Kurajyaka, 31K ] Silken. Iloin. Won by a nose. Time, lmin 37 l-ssec,
