SYDNEY, -Oct. 15. The marine enquiry found that the Aeon was unable to make good the course set, whicli would carry- -her 20 miles clear of Christens Island, owing to (the strong westerly current, which was stronger than was allowed for. A good look-out was kept, but there being little sea, the steamer ivas in the -breakers before they could be detected. The Court was’ not justified in imputing negligence to' the captain.
