LONDON, Nov. 20.
Mr. Asquith announced- that the Government has decided to introduce a new Education Bill, embodying the recent compromise, which, while not ideally perfect, yet provided a settlement without sacrifice of principle on either side. He believed that there was solid reason for hoping that the settlement would meet public support.
The “Times” says that, meeting the grievance of the Noucomformists, the Government liaA’e eA r oh r ed a plan AA'liich is in no Ava.y ungenerous towards the proper demands of the Denominationalists, and hopes that eA’en the Catholics may accept the solution.
