The- Emperor Francis Josef strongly impressed the Ministry with the desire for a peaceful solution of the Balkans difficulty. Hitherto the officials and newspapers of Vienna, except the . “Fremdenblatt,” received Sir Edward Grey’s speech with diatribes against Great Britain.
Austria has again protested against the continuation of the Turkish, boycott of Austrian steamers and goods.
