A NO-LICENSE RESOLUTION

ASHBURTON, Dec. 9
At u w ell-attended No-license thanksgiving meeting, held last night, the following resolution was unanimously carried —-That the meeting expresses its appreciation of the attitude adopted by the Premier with reference to the intention of the liquor trade to place a brewery on the boundary of the Ashburton electorate, aud thanks him for the promise to introduce legislation to give effect to the will of the people m No-license areas.”
