To-night the American Company of Liebler and Co., of New York, under the direction of Mr. J. C. V illiamson, will make their first- appearance here in the fumouscouiedy-draiua “Mrs VViggs of the Cabbage Patch.” The play is said to open up a new vista of bizarre, quaint, ana grotesque incidents of homely life in the *outhern States of America. She has .many troubles, but all ends with a large amount of happiness. The company, forty strung, arrived last night front South. As the interest begins with the first lines spoken, the management desire that patrons may bo early in their seats. A fate train to Puha will leave Gisborne at 10.45 p.m. Tho final curtain will fall on the play at 10.35 p.m.
