Twelve thousand people witnessed the match of the Australian League team against Oldham, which resulted in Oldham scoring a goal and three tries and the League ia goal and a try. converted try before half-time. A rough-and-tumble game was played afterwards, Abercrombie securing a try in tlie last minute, which Messenger failed to convert. Swansea beat the Wallabies by a penalty goal and a try to nil. Forty thousand spectators, were present. Swansea scored a goal early in the game and a try before half-time. Swansea played considerably the better game forward and outside. During the second half Griffin was ordered off the field for rough play.
