Cabinet has decided to open Parliament by Commission, instead of adopting the usual course of opening Avith a speech from the Governor. Sir Thomas Bent is confident that he Avill bo a bio to pull the Ministry through. It is understood that ho intends to meet Parliament as the head of the Government. ADELAIDE, Jan. 3 The revenue for the half-year decreased by £59,300. In West Australia the revenue decreased by £102,_ 000. The decrease in each case is largely due to the falling off in the proportion of Federal revenue returned to the States. _
