J. Lyons and Co., the well-known caterers, deny offering their Trafalgar Square house at a site to the Commbnwealth Government for offices, and say that they have no knowledge of the transaction.
AUSTRALIAN WINE SOLD AS BURGUNDY.
The proprietor of a small restaurant at- Neweross lias been fined 20s and costs one shilling for selling Australian wine as Burgundy. A wholesale firm who supplied him admitted that the bottles had been, labelled in error.
