Elaborate preparations have been made lor his -reception at the Rath Haus. There is tremendous enthusiasm amongst the .oerliners,. who are deliglited, because King Edward is the first British monarch to visit Berlin since 1723, and no head of a foreign State has heretofore been the municipality’s guest. King Edward and Queen Alexandra held a reception at the British Embassy for British residents in Berlin. A grand State ball was given in the Royal Castle, and was a great success.
