HOCKEY.
WEST END CLUB. The annual general meeting of the West End Hockey Club was held last evening in the Royal Hotel, Mr. 0. R. Olsen presiding. The secretary, Mr. Hooper, tendered the report and balance-sheet for last season. It showed that the club last season had been very successful, as it had had the honor of winning the Poverty Bay. Hockey. Association 'championship shield. Financially the club was on a sound footing, as it bad a credit balance of £2. The thanks of the club were tendered to Messrs G. K. Pnsloy. D. Dustin, and R. W. Cary for handsome donations. \ .. The following officers were elected for the coming season : President, Mr. G. K. Paslcy; vklo-pmsidcnts, Messrs A. F. Kennedy, 1). J. Barry, J. i; .R. Nieholls, 1). E/Dustin. A: Zacliariuh, Rossbotham, J. H. Cato,- and Crawford; secretary and treasurer, Mr. J. Cramp; captain, Mr. D. Roderick; vice-captain, Mr. A. Pirie; selection committee, captain, vice-captain and
3. R. Olsen; management committee, Re ars Hooper, Olson, and McLachaa; delegates to P.B. Hoc'key Association, Messrs Roderick and Olsen. A number of new members were ‘looted, and judging by the interest taken a succesful season is anticipated. KIA KAHA V. CIVIL SERVICE. Tbe following team will represent the Kia Kaha Hockey Club in a clialenge match this afternoon against the newly-formed Civil Service Hockey Cluh : —Kia Kaha (colors all white) : Goalkeeper, Bert. As the association’s jerseys have not arrival, members are requested to appear in white.
