WELLINGTON, March 25. In a swimming match at Tliorndon baths to-night, three empetitors beat the New Zealand record of 64 4-osec over the 100 yards. Roberts taking o2 4-osec, Ronayne 63sec; and Healey 64 sec it is probable, -however, that these times will not be accepted as official owiim to tile'baths being 9m short of fiftv wards, so that ihe actual distance covered; was only 99-} yards. In a in l , a tell at TeAro baths, f). C. Freeh urg swam 440 yads in 6min Bsec, equal to the' New Zealand record.
