ASHBURTON, March 25. A Tew Zealand Marathon race from Rakaia to Ashburton Domain, distance 1-8 miles,l-54 yards, , run under the auspices of the Ashburton Amateur Cycling and Athletic. Club, was decided .herAto-day in very trying heat. Twen-ty-two men were nominated, and eighteen started, -including some of .the. best kmowii distance men: of the Donrir.on.
