PATUTAHI SUNDAY SCHOOL

PRESENTATION OF PRIZES

About 200 people wore gathered in the Patutahi Public Hall on Thursday evening when the annual presentation of prizes in connection with the Presbyterian Suday School was made. At half-past 5 tea was, held in the upper room and at 7.30 a programme of music, songs and recitations was commenced. The Rev. F. W. Graham presided and during the interval presented the prizes. The following are the names, in order, of the successful pupils who sat for the examination: — . Senior Gir!s: Ivv Mclldowie, Dovohv Douglas, Marion McKenzie, Nona McKenzie, Ethel Lyons, Lizzie Atkins, intermediate, boys: Kwon Molklowic, Tom Hooper, Arthur Bates. James Atkins, Henry Clayden, Arthur Clayden; intermediate girls: Elsie Hepburn, Dolly Hepburn, Sophia Craill, Dorothy Pates, Jean Robb, Dorothy Atkins, Emma Hyde, Bella Lyons, Marion Fade: junior girls and boys: Sarah Eade, Aggy Mclldowie, Maggie Atkins, Reggio Bates, Jack Robb, Ruby Bates. Special prizes were presented to Marion MoTvenzie, Ivy Mclldowie, Bessie Russell, Lydia Harris, Alfred Harris, Joan McKenzie, Kate McKenzie, Maggie Bruce, Bella Bruce, and Minnie Bruce.
