CYCLING.

WELLINGTON MOTOR TRIALS.

Messrs Andrew Anderson, Bert Bannister. and Chas. King left- for Napier by the s.s. Waikare on Sunday night to take part- in the Dunlop motor reliability trials to be held in Wellington on Saturday next. They intend to ride through from Napier to V ellington. The route to be taken in the trials is from Wellington Post Office to W aikanae and back, a distance of 84_ miles. It- is intended as purely a reliability, trial, and not- one of speed, the competitors being bound to arrive at the turning -point and at the finishing post at a given time.
