The Miners’ Federation has instructed its members to refuse to accept a reduction in wages.
When the -Eight Hours’ Bill comes into operation, the Scottish employers propose to paj’ 5s 6d a day, instead of 6s. Lancashire owners agree not to reduce the rates of pay for six months.
