HOCKEY.
TO-DAY’S MATCHES
The district hockey competition will be continued this afternoon. Kia Kolia will meet Y.M.C.A. at 2.15 p.m. ? a,nd 7 will try conclusions with Civil Servants at 3.50 p.rn. The following players will) represent their clubs: Kia Kalia: Messrs. McLean, Grant, Evans, Coleman, Garrett, Knibb, Somervell, Thomas, Tabernacle, Murphy, and Grieve. Y.M.C.A.: Messrs. Ellison, Russell. Baker, Pine, Itewai, Munro, Mill, Ngaira, Davey, Brown, and .Aukl. Emergencies: deLautour, and McLeod. City: Messrs. Cockerill, Day, Friar, Grinlinton, Corbett, Fox, Armstrong, Dawson, Bull, Doyle, and Lewis. Emergency :E. Nicolas. Civil Servants: Messrs Scott, Barker, Maher, Payne, Household, Itudman, File, Stagpoole, Hargrics, Bristow, and Sissons. SHIELD MATCHES. Owing to the holiday, the usual midweek hockey matches will be played on the Victoria Domain this afternoon. Kia Kalia meet Y.M.C.A. at 2.15 p.m., and Citv play Civil Service at 3.30 p.m. Air. Armstrong (City) will referee in the first match, and Mr. R. Grant (Kia Kalia) the latter.
