SYDNEY, May 31
A farmer named Robertson visited tho office of Barter -and Company, in Hunter Street, and, after a heated discussion, fired four revolver shots. A bullet smashed Ernest Barter’s jaw, passing out of bis mouth. Barter is in the hospital. Robertson has been charged with shooting with intent to murder. It is understood that the trouble was over monetary transactions.
