AUCKLAND UNION DECLINES Tt PAY FOR. GOLD FILLING. [Per Press Association.] AUCKLAND, June 15. The Auckland Rugby Union pays for repairs to the teeth of players injured in playing matches, but it pays only sueli expenses as seem reasonable to the committee. Last night at their meeting they decided that gold fillings were not reasonable. A player, who had had. a front tooth chipped, forwarded a dentist’s bill for one guinea, and the Union committee decided to offer him lialf-a-guinea. and suggest that he pay the rest of the amount himself.
