HEAVY FINES.
fPEB Press Association.} 1 DUNEDIN, July 2. Mary Tansey, for selling sly grog, was fined this, morning £2O. It was stated in evidence that w 38 weeks 798 gallons of draught beer and 134 dozen bottles of beer had been supplied to Tansey’s house, formerly the Coach and Horses hotel. Annie lansey, daughter of the former, was fined 30e for selling liquor. The case against John lansey was ai of the Globe HoW, Princes' Street South, .whose house lost 'its license by reduction six years ago, 'and is now used as a boarding-house, Svae fined £2O, and costs 7s. James Gibbons, occupier or the Kai?korai Junction Hotel near Burnside cattle yards, whose whose lost its lictense at the 1905 poll, was fined £2y, •with costs 7s.
