The conference between the United States House of Representatives and the Senat has fixed the proposed tax on the net incomes of corporations at one instead of two- per cent. The House has adopted the Senate’s resolution for the amendment of the Constitution. LONDON, July 12. The “Times” New York correspondent says that as imports are likely to increase with the return of prosperous times the new tariff may yield £5,000,000 additional revenue, perhaps more.
