TURANGANUI CLUB

Good progress is being made with the between the present green and the Turanganui Bowling Club. The hedge between the {present greeen and tlie_ section recently leased from the Borough Council has been removed, and the box-tliorn. of which it Avas composed, burned. The .pavilion and other buildings have been shifted from their old site, and Avill be in position on the neAvly-acquired ground to-morrow. It has been suggested that the box-thorn hedge on the east ibf the new ground shall be removed and replaced with a corrugated iron fende. A meeting of the committee of the club will be held at the green at 2 p.m. to-day to consider the proposal.
