NEW SOUTH WALES RAILWAYS. SYDNEY, August 2. The Railway Commissioner’s annual report shows that 52,051,000 people were carried on the railways during the year without loss of life. The net result, after providing working expenses and interest, is a surplus of £388,000. Tho tramways resulted in a surplus of £79,000, being £5 12s 2d per cent, of tho capital invested. There were 186.315,000 passengers carried without loss of life.
