, CHAMPION WITH LEICESTER CASTLE. A. .SAFE ARRIVAL AT SYDNEY. United I’rkbs Association , ( opykight. (Received August 8, 5.5 p.m.) SFDNEY, August 8. The LeicevSter Castle, in tow of the tug Champion, lias arrived from Auckland. They ran into heavy westerly weather after rounding North Cape. The gales continued all the way, and reached a climax on July 24th, when no headway was- made for 24 hours, the Leicester Castle rolling fearfully. The tug managed throughout to keep the track followed by steamers, and was only, once 14 miles off the route. The Duckenfield, which went to assist, was not sighted.
