SCHOOL GIRLS’ MATCH. HASTINGS (1) v. GISBORNE MAIN SCHOOL (0). A match betwwon the visiting Hastings girls’ team and the girls from the Gisborne main school, was played at the Victoria Domain yesterday morning, and resulted in a win for Hastings by one goal to nil. The visitors had <i!i the best, of the game, and their score was obtained by Miss Avis Thompson. Miss Ivy Parker had an excellent chance of equalising the scores, but slipped at the critical moment. For the winners Misses A. Thompson, Eh Apperley, hud M. Masters played well, and Misses Ivy Parker, and F. Ferguson were the best of the local girls. Mr 0. R. Olsen refereed, and Masters Glare and Oman were the line umpires.
