The “Daily Telegraph” states that Sir Joseph Ward’s exposition of the new naval arrangement shows that he has courageously followed the lines of an Empire naval policy. Referring to Australia’s locally-controlled force, the paper'says, “A nice figure any such little squadron would cut against any Power that could break through the British navy.”
