LARGE MEETING AT WAIROA

{'Pun Pit ess Association.! WAIROA, October 2. A large meeting of farmers held on Thursday—there were over 100 present set up a strong committee to collect information as to the number of shares persons are willing to take up to establish freezing works at Wairoa or Waikokopu. Farmers are united as to the desirability of the works, but the site is the sticking point. All admit that Wairoa is most central; also it has the preno ndo ring number of sheep, taking in Ruakituri and Mangapoike. Farmers will be circularised as to winch site thcv will support.
