The shooting in all events has been exceptionally good, with a very high average of possibles. Resides the first stage of the. King’s Prize, the Sargocd Rifle Club’s matcli was put through. Parramatta winning with 280 out of a possible 300, the Australian Rifles following with one mint less, and three other teams with two points behind. (Received, October 14, 11.45 p.m.) A glaring light and a fishtail wind ■moved disastrous to many competitors. Skinner (Victoria) won the second stage of the King’s match with 67. Seven possibles were scored at the 600 yards range.
The New Zealand leading scores are Munro and Hadneld 62, James 61. In the aggregates for the first two stages Howitt is still leading with 168. Munro is 11th with 162, James and Had field 12th and 13th with 161 each, Duncan 158.
