MAIL CONTRACT RENEWED
THE ORIENT COMPANY’S AGREEMENT. United Press Association —CorYEiGirr. (Received October 17, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, October 16. The -post office has renewed the contract with the Orient Company to take effect after February Ist. The steamers will not call at Plymouth. The British mail will be sent to Taranto, in Italy, saving from 16 to 18 hours on the run to Port Said. The vessels will reach Naples early in the morning, stay until noon, and then steam to Taranto.
