French comment on t lie subject declares that the Czar’s avoidance of Austrian territory suggests that Baron Aehrenthal has suffered a rebuff in his attempt to re-establish normal relations between Austria and Russia. “Le Temps” regards the visit as a crowning touch to tbe adaptation of the Franco-Russian alliance to a European milieu, which avill not only be useful to France but useful to peace.
