French comment on t lie subject declares that the Czar’s avoidance of Austrian territory suggests that Baron Aehrenthal has suffered a rebuff in his attempt to re-establish normal relations between Austria and Russia. “Le Temps” regards the visit as a crowning touch to tbe adaptation of the Franco-Russian alliance to a European milieu, which avill not only be useful to France but useful to peace. The Czar has arranged to hold an interview with M. Pichon during his return iourney. ROME, Oct. 25. The Czar’s visit to Italy is so popularly regarded as anti-Austrian that even the Radicals and Socialists are welcoming him.
