Goldmining has been in operation for a period of 300 years in the Zacatacas district of Mexico, and tliioughout that time the tailings from the crude redaction mills flowed into the Laguna de Pedro Malillo. An American engineer has analysed the bed of the lake, and found that the tailings gave from one to four pounds stalling worth of gold per ton. It is believed that millions of tens of tailings are available. A concession has been secured.
